Why Sanchez, Ozil & Koscielny Didn't Feature against Chelsea
There were several big-name absentees from the Arsenal team for Sunday’s Community Shield against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey could not be risked, having picked up minor knocks in midweek, while Alexis and Shkodran Mustafi only returned to training recently after their exertions at this summer's Confederations Cup.
Laurent Koscielny - who could have featured - was also left out of the squad, as he is suspended for the first two games of the new Premier League season.
