WCQ: Njie & Tambe Dropped from Squad to Face Nigeria
Marseille striker njie Clinton has been omitted in the Cameroon squad to face Nigeria this September (1 & 4), for the FIFA 2018 WC qualifiers.
Coach Hugo Broos dislcosed the list during a press conference held this morning at Mont Febe Hotel-Yaounde.
Cameroon travel to Uyo-Nigeria on the 1st of September before welcoming the same opponents three days later in Yaounde.
Njie who netted severally at pre-season with Marseilles is reportedly injured. The former Spurs attacker was highly expected in the den after regaining form in France. He started off the new Ligue Un season very well, scoring 3 goals in 3 games.
Unfortunately, Njie who scored to secure his side a point against Angers last weekend limped off before the game ended.
