New FECAFOOT Normalization: Government Response Awaited Today

Government response will be known on Friday 25 August 2017, since World's football governing body, FIFA, decreed a new normalization committee for the Cameroon FA on Wednesday.

State media says the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Pierre Ishmael Bidoung Mpkatt will this afternoon grant a press conference in Yaoundé, featuring the FIFA announcement, and the state of affairs as far as preparations to host AFCON 2019 are concerned.

The meeting is scheduled to take place from 2 pm at the Media Centre of the Omnisport Satdium in Yaoundé.  

Minister Bidoung Mpkatt will accompanied by Cameroon’s Communication Minister Issa Tchiroma.
