Inter-city Basketball Final: Do or Die Between Devils & Revolutionaries
Molyko Devils will face Kumba Revolution in the final of the SW Inter-city Basketball Competition, slated Sunday 20th August 2017.
Molyko Devils eased into the final after outplaying Tiko Monsters by 63 points to 28 on Wednesday at the Molyko Sports Complex in Buea.

Despite the handicap, the Tiko side stumbled on glaring chances underneath the basket but making the points remained a nightmare.
The Revolutionaries defeated New Mindsets on Tuesday 15 August 2017, in the Green City by 97 points to 59 to pick the first qualification ticket.
Reacting at the end of yesterday’s lopsided semifinal, Monsters’ Captain Eji Mofor said, “We have lost, and that is it. Injuries reaped us apart. Our opponents also played well. I think it was a good tournament and hope it continues.”
On his part, Devils’ Leader, Zedong Steve, said though they won, it was a hard fought victory given two previous losses to the Monsters.

He said maximum concentration played the trick. He praised the organizers while boasting of a new dimension in the region's basketball.
Talking to Volcanic Sports, the Secretary General of the competition, Mr Chawa Elcid, said, “I am glad we are drawing to the end. I am so happy with the participation of all the teams.”
Quizzed on the complexion of Sunday’s backlash, Mr Chawa said it would be a do or die and more so very unpredictable.
This view was shared by New Mindset Captain Enow Brice. Brice said the two finalists deserved their qualifications.
