Bamboutos FC Officials & Players on Strike
The Cameroon Radio & Television (CRTV) on Wednesday 16 August said officials and players of Bamboutos FC of Mbouda are staging a sit down strike following the non-payment of accrued bonuses and allowances.
According to State media reports, the management of the elite club has not paid match bonuses and allowances for over ten games.
Both players and officials are threatening to absent Wednesday’s fixture with Aigle of Menoua if nothing is done about their grievances.
The Mangwa Boys who are coached by former Cameroon coach Jules Federick Nyonga lie tenth on the MTN Elite 1 table with 34 points after 26 playing days.
