Moumi Ngamaleu Signs for Young Boys before coming to camp
Nicolas Brice Moumi Ngamaleu has just joined Swiss club BSC Young Boys after concluding a 4-year deal over the weekend. The deal is worth 24.40 m euros.
“The Young Boys are very pleased that they have been able to conclude a contract with the 23-year-old offensive player Nicolas Brice Moumi Ngamaleu for four years,” the club said on Saturday 26 August 2017.
The Cameroonian national player comes from the Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach. Moumi Ngamaleu is considered to be a fast, tricky and agile player who can be deployed in virtually every position.
Manager Adi Hutter now has two Cameroonian forwards including Jean Pierre Nsame. Both players are now in the squad for the forthcoming two international matches against Nigeria.
Moumi Ngamaleu moved from his home country (Coton Sport) to Altach a year ago and has scored ten goals and three assists for the Vorarlberg in 38 serious bouts.
For the Cameroon national team, he has already played six games (two goals) and took part in the FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia in the summer.
The new YB player was not eligible for the 2-2 draw with St. Gallen over the weekend. He will be number 13 at the Young Boys.
Moumi started his career at Musango FC, moved to Canon then Coton. His new club, Young Boys are second to FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League with 11 points.
