Coutinho & Dembelé Deals Close to being finalised-Barca Mgr

Speaking after Wednesday’s Spanish Super Cup second leg, FC Barcelona manager of sport for football, Pep Segura, stated that Liverpool and Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho and Borussia Dortmund and France striker Ousmane Dembélé “are very close” to joining the FC Barcelona first team.

He hoped to see them wearing the jersey in the not too distant future.

But he also insisted that neither player has officially been signed “and we can’t say anything else until the deals have been finalised.”

Barça’s recently signed full back Nélson Semedo made his official debut at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday, while Brazil international Paulinho will be presented to the fans tomorrow Thursday, pending his medical tests in the morning.
