Afcon winner Doukoure joins Levante

Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Doukoure on Friday joined promoted Spanish Liga side Levante on a four-year deal from Metz, the French club announced.

The 24-year-old, who was an Africa Cup of Nations winner in 2015, joined Metz in July 2014 from Lorient.

He played 29 matches in Ligue 1 last season and was captain in the second half of the campaign.
