SWRL: Two Referees Suspended for Flouting Game Rules
Two referees namely: Ashu Paul and Ewane Sunny have been suspended by the South West regional league of football after flouting the laws of the game.
The decisions are contained in a release dated 27th July, 2017, and signed by the Secretary of the referees’ commission, Mr Ngangang Ferdinand.
Mr Ashu Paul who has been suspended for two matches performed poorly during a first-round 2-2 draw between Cinyodev and Maumu Youths, while the match St. Peters versus Dynamic had kicked off one hour behind schedule at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium due to the late arrival of Mr Ewane.

The Commissioner of the said game, Mr Fossem Mathias has been handed a 3-match ban for misleading the homologation committee on Mr Ewane’s time of arrival. Mr Ewane Sunny has been suspended for three matches.
The League was acting hours after an erroneous homologation decision met with heavy criticisms.
According to another release by the league, second round matches kick-off this Saturday with Continental to welcome Buea United in a local derby.
