Ndip Tambe Robert Scores after 2017 FIFA Confed. Cup
Cameroon international and south-west born, Ndip Tambe Robert, has offered a gala match to his colleagues and players from the region.
The highly attended game held on Friday June 30, 2017, at the Middle Farms Stadium in Limbe. Team Ndip Tambe outplayed a South-West based selection by two goals to one. The two goals from Ndip Tambe’s side were coincidentally scored by him and his national team mate Sebastian Siani.
The Cameroon and Spartak Trnava striker said the gala match was aimed at communing with his friends back home and his community.
Some of the players who played for the 23-year-old’s side included Marcus Mokake, Mwambo, Joseph Agbor Yanki, Kunde Malong, Jih Kelvin Ketu, Otia Keukang Nombo, Edmond Sigala, Chu Derrick and others.
Ndip Tambe was part of the Cameroon squad that could not make it pass the group stage of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.
Tambe made his senior debut for the Cameroon national football team in a 2-0 win over The Gambia during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
He started his football career at the Njalla Quan Football Academy in Limbe before moving to Cinyodev Football Academy in Buea.
Ndip Tambe has recorded about five caps with the indomitable lions and is yet to score for his country.
In January 2016, Tambe signed a two-year contract with the Slovakia side Spartak Trnava. He made his professional debut for Trnava against Michalovce on 27 February 2016.
