New Stars D'la: President Faustin Appoints a Coach Again

Laurent Djam has conducted his first training session as the Coach of New Stars of Douala, a radio in Douala reports

Mr. Djam trained with his new side on Tuesday afternoon in Bepanda shortly after his appointment by President Faustin Domnkeu. 

Reports say he will be assisted by Christian Nyonseck, alongside goalkeeper trainer Pierre Nyayou.

Laurent Djam who takes over from Alain Djeumfa has a difficult task ahead of him given that New Stars who previously lost 1-0 to YOSA, have dropped into the relegation zone. they are 17th with 17 points after 20 games. 

Djeumfa was evicted following a 2-0 loss to Racing of Bafoussam in Limbe.

The new technician has coached Botafogo and recently Bamboutos of Mbouda.

He tendered his resignation letter as coach of the Mangwa Boys in May 2017 after President Justin Tagouh removed him from the position of head coach.

His first match comes up on Sunday against Stade Renard in Limbe.
