FAKO League final: Omega FC Vs FMA at Limbe Omnisort Stadium

Omega FC will on Sunday October 15, 2017, clash with Football Management Academy in the final of this year’s Fako 3rd Divisional League.

Omega FC defeated Future Stars Sports Academy of Limbe 3-1 to qualify while Football Management Academy overpowered EEMSA 22 by 4 goals to 1 to make it through.

Both finalists are from the South West regional capital Buea.

According to the Secretary General of the Fako 3rd Divisional League, Mr Vefonge Joseph, the final will take place at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium at 3 pm.

The President and Coach of Omega FC is Boumsong Samuel. He is a former player of Vitoria United alias Opopo, YOSA Bamenda and Coton Sport of Garoua.

Other key figures in tomorrow's match are Captain Tengeg Neville Mbanwei and Mofa Bosten who scored a brace each when Football Management Academy overpowered EEMSA 22 in the semi-final.

Tengeg Neville

The 18-year-old Neville in particular has great skills and command over the round object, and usually animates the attacking front to everyone's liking.

The young and talented attacking midfielder who emerged among top scorers for D2 side Mount Cameroon FC last year, chose to join third tier club FMA. Neville's move was motivated by two things; the fact that he wants to play international and professional club football, and also because FMA is an academy with strong links in Belgium.

Ajax FC of Likomba won last year's championship and proceeded to qualify for promotion to D2.

Unfortunately, their stay in the regional top flight was brief.  Match absenteeism and players' ineligibility accounted for their expulsion from the competition in the current season.
