Disunited SW Coaches at the Mercy of Enow Ngatchu
The Cameroon Association of Football Coaches SW branch, best known by the French acronym ACEEF, has been hit by serious crises. According to members, their leaders have failed and must step down for ACEEF to foster unity, credibility and progress.

The disorder that marred the Friday October 27 GA at Dusseldorf is very telling of the distrust, chaos and stalemate affecting ACEEF SW. They have tried to wash the association clean but chronic diseases make it smell the same old self.
“I am angry, all of us are angry. The bureau has not been able to render financial accounts for the past for months and people owe debts,” the former Coach of Dynamic Buea, Bamboh Moses, fumed.
“Any decision taken by the majority cannot be opposed by the few,” he added.
His colleague of Maumu Youths, Njuku Barnabas, identified absenteeism and irresponsibility as part of the potato blight affecting the coaches’ association.
ACEEF has truly suffered numerous cracks, and a divided house they say will never stand. The time is now for the 2009 executives, headed by the managing director of the Cameroon Football Academy, President Carl Enow Ngatchu, to provide healing. Note that Mr Ngatchu was absent.
His vice, Ngongang Emile of Tiko said, “We are almost getting scattered. We have to work to be together. It is not too late. I want that we should decide but let my coaches be sincere on the future of ACEEF.”
During most of the brawls on Friday 27 October, floor members (Nlend Aime, Best Junior, Enang Severin and others) clamoured for change of leaders. It will appear the allegedly corrupt executive have exceeded their mandate.
Agitators like Bamboh Moses think only of fresh elections can lead them out of the mess.
On of ACEEF’s Auditors, Njuku Barnabas, also subscribed to fresh elections while discouraging radicalism. Though strong resolutions were not taken (ACEEF’s weakness), the over 37 attendees went home in anticipation for change latest by January 2018.
The watch word for ACEEF SW is hope, and may the leading coaches now coordinate their defense to liaise with the midfielders, so that the attackers are supplied the golden goal of progress.
“Aceefans” constituting the South West branch come from the region’s main towns viz Buea, Limbe, Tiko, Kumba, Mamfe and others.
