Samuel Eto'o joins Konyaspor

Former indomitable lions’ captain and striker, Samuel Eto’o Fils, has joined another Turkish topflight outfit Konyaspor for an undisclosed fee.

The 36-year-old called it quit with Antalyaspor after three seasons, where he scored 44 goals in 76 games. He joined Antalyaspor in 2015.

The former Barcelona star will be unveiled this Wednesday, ahead of a medial due to start at 9 a.m. (Cameroon time).

Eto’o would be hoping to use his wealth of experience to help his new club swim out of the relegation waters. 

Konyaspor  are placed 17th on the Super Lig log with 16 points from 19 games.
