FECAFOOT relaunches divisional/regional leagues
The Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, has issued a kick-off deadline for all its leagues, for the 2017-18 football season.
According to a communiqué signed on Friday 26th January, 2018, by the Secretary General of FECAFOOT, Martin Etonge, February 25, is the latest date to launch all competitions whether, divisional, regional or national.
In this regard, clubs eligible have been urged to submit required documents on or before the 16th of February, 2018.
The communiqué further states that competitions that fail to take off by February 25 will be considered inexistent in the current season.
Similarly, a communiqué signed on Thursday 25th January, 2018, by the Secretary General of FECAFOOT, Martin Etonge, sets the 18th of February as kick-off to the Female Professional League of Cameroon.
The deadline to submit required documents is the 9th of next month.
It should be noted that another release signed last Friday by Mr Martin Etonge exempts clubs from paying registration fee. This particular circular says each football club will have 12 players’ licences issued for free.

After 2 postponements, the launching of Cameroon's Premier League has been scheduled for February 10, 2018.
According to a communiqué signed on Friday 26th January 2018 by the Secretary General of the League Pauline Theresse Manguele, the kick-off of the 2017-2018 MTN Elite 1 season will be done on the tenth of next month, and remaining day one matches to be played the following day.
The document further firmly states that MTN Elite 2 swings into action on the 17th of February, 6 days after the launch of MTN Elite 1.
