CAHB 2018: Handball Lions avoid inglorious exit

Cameroon have managed a draw at the ongoing Africa Men’s Handball Championship in Gabon.

On Monday 22 January, 2018, the Handball Lions drew 29-29 with Gabon in a final group A match, leaving them with a point at the bottom of the Pool. Cameroon got eliminated after losing 3 games consecutively.

Still on Monday, Tunisia defeated Congo by 36 goals to 23.

Teams qualified for the quarterfinals are Tunisia, Algeria, Gabon, Congo, Egypt, Angola, Morocco and the DRC. Knockouts start Wednesday 24 January 2018.

Tunisia  v DR Congo

Angola v Algeria

Gabon v Morocco

Egypt v Congo

Note that Tunisia and Egypt finished top of the respective Groups.
