Africa Men's Handball: Tunisia & Egypt reach final
Tunisia and Egypt will play an all North Africa final after winning semifinal games at the ongoing Africa Men’s Handball Championship in Gabon.
On Thursday, Tunisia defeated Angola by 34 goals to 14 while defending champions Egypt butted out Morocco by 31 goals to 19.
The 23rd continental handball championship ends tomorrow 27th January 2018. Apart from the final pitting Tunisia to Egypt, Angola and Morocco will battle for the 3rd prize.
Note that Angola and Morocco join finalists Tunisia and Egypt, to qualify for the 2019 World Men's Handball Championship in Denmark and Germany.
Meanwhile, in a ninth place game yesterday, team Cameroon beat neighbours Nigeria by 27 goals to 19. By winning Nigeria, Coach Burchard’s boys escaped the Benjamin position out of ten participating nations.
