Benjamin Massing to be buried Saturday Jan. 20 in Edea
Former Cameroon international Benjamin Massing, who died on the 9th of December aged 55, will be laid to rest tomorrow in Edea.
Massing’s mortal remains were reportedly removed from the Edea General Hospital yesterday, ahead of tomorrow’s funeral programme.
The defender’s crunching tackles at the World Cup in 1990 earned him an infamous reputation.
The defender's body check on Claudio Caniggia in the opening game against Argentina in Milan has often been described as one of the worst tackles in World Cup history.
Massing, who played in France at Creteil, won 34 caps for his country between 1986 and 1992.
