CHAN 2018 Final: Nigeria v Morocco

Nigeria and Morocco will play the final of the 2018 African Nations Championship, CHAN, after dismissing Sudan and Libya respectively.

Okechukwu Gabriel scored as the local Super Eagles beat Sudan 1-0 late on Wednesday in Marrakech.

As early as the 12th minute, the Super Eagles suffered a huge blow when goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa sustained an injury, forcing him to be replaced by Oladele Ajiboye.

Both teams finished the game with ten men.

Hosts Morocco needed extra time to defeat Libya 3-1 earlier on Wednesday. Morocco centre forward El Kaabi now tops the goal chat with 8 after scoring a brace against the 2014 champions.

The final will be played on Sunday the 4th of February 2018. Sudan battles Libya in third place match on Saturday.
