Can the Under 17 Lionesses make it?

The Under 17 Lionesses of Cameroon are in camp preparing for a World Cup qualifier against their counterparts of Nigeria.

During a friendly played on Sunday at the military stadium in Yaoundé, the cadet lionesses defeated a Yaoundé selection by 7 goals to 4.

The first leg of last round qualifiers to Uruguay 2018 takes place in Benin City, on the 3rd of February 2018.

After the failures recorded by local indomitable lions at CHAN 2018, handball lions at Africa Men's Handball Championship Gabon 2018, and failure by U-20 lionesses to qualify for the 2018 U-20 Women's World Cup in France August this year, Cameroonians hope that the cadet lionesses make it, and console the disgruntled home fans.
