France 2018: U-20 lionesses labour to draw with Ghana
The U-20 lionesses of Cameroon have been held to a 1 all tie by visiting Ghana, in the first leg of final Under 20 World Cup qualifiers.
The game took place Sunday 14 January 2018 at the Ahmadu Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé.
Alexandra Takounda gave Cameroon the lead at the 12th minute of play. Princela Adubea equalized for Ghana at the 58th minute of the second half.
Coach Charles Kamdem’s lionesses will walk a tight rope on the 26th of this month when they travel to Accra for the return leg with Coach Yussif Bassigi’s side.
The Under 20 Women’s World Cup will take place in France in 2018.
