Wantaway Eto'o Rescues Point for Antalyaspor Against Galatasaraay

Samuel Eto’o hit a late equaliser to rescue a point for Antalyspor on Sunday evening, cancelling out Bafetembi Gomis’ first half opener.




Antalyaspor forced  Galatasaraay to drop points as the Super Lig clash ended 1-1.

Former Swansea forward Gomis scored the opening goal for Galatasaraay before Samuel Eto’o scored at the 88th minute to save Antalyaspor from the embarrassment.

The goal was the 36-year-old’s first in four top-flight games for Riza Calimbay’s side who are 17th on the log.

Antalyaspor will battle Asamoah Gyan’s Kayserispor on September 15.





Lately, reports claimed Samuel Eto’o has asked to leave Turkish Super Lig club Antalyaspor after a two-year stay.

The former Cameroon striker and captain who joined the Antalya side in 2015 is still on contract till June 2018.

The 36-year-old has scored 39 goals, and assisted 11 times in 62 games for Antalyaspor since 2015. The club has played 4 games this season recording three draws.
