Cristiano Ronaldo marks his 400th Real Madrid appearance with a brace
Cristiano Ronaldo played his 400th match for Real Madrid in Dortmund, where the striker once again made the difference, netting twice for the Whites. Cristiano reaches this milestone in his ninth season at the club where he is the all-time top scorer with 412 goals.
Cristiano, who made his competitive debut on 29 August 2009 in the 3-2 win against Deportivo, is the third foreigner to reach the 400-game mark for Real Madrid after Roberto Carlos and Marcelo.
The Portuguese striker gave his thoughts at the final whistle:
"We wanted to get our first win here in Dortmund. It was a challenge for us and we had to be up for it if we were going to write our names into the history books.
The team did a fantastic job, we played really well and created a lot of chances. It's not easy to score three goals here and it was a good all-round performance. We performed well in attack, defence and in the middle third".
His numbers
His games for Real Madrid have been played in six competitions: LaLiga (267), the Champions League (90), the Copa del Rey (30), the Spanish Super Cup (seven), Club World Cup (four) and the UEFA Super Cup.

In his career at Real Madrid, he’s recorded 293 victories, which have seen him lift three Champions Leagues, three UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, two LaLiga crowns, two Copa del Reys and two Spanish Super Cups.
