SWRL: 5 clubs dismissed prior to end of championship

Three D2 clubs: Barca Junior FC of Banga Bakundu, Ekona FC and Ajax Likomba have been declared general forfeiture, and relegated to the inferior league for absenteeism, bringing the total number of clubs relegated from the yet-to-end regional championship to five (5).

21 clubs are left out of the 26 that ignited the campaign.

The first two: Ekombe Vipers and Manyu FC were taken off after they abated rules and regulations especially unaccounted match absenteeism, which has larely implicated the latest relegation candidates.

The new corrective decisions were released on Tuesday 12 September 2017 by the SWRL, after several meetings by the homologation and disciplinary commission in charge:

Barca, Ekona and Ajax were shown the back door taking into cognizance articles 91 and 98 sub 1 and 2, of the disciplinary code of FECAFOOT. They persona non grata clubs have also been fined 100.000 francs CFA each.
