U-17 Lionesses of Cameroon pick World Cup ticket

Cameroon's Under 17 female football selection have qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Uruguay after a 1-1 draw with Nigeria in Yaoundé on Sunday. 

Cameroon qualified on away goal rule having drawn 2-2 with the Falconets a forthnight ago in Benin.

The cadet lionesses are joining South Africa and Ghana to represent Africa in the 2018 Under 17 Women's World Cup in South America. 

Ghana qualified after defeating Djibouti 13-0 on aggregate.

The Nigerian U-17 have apologised to fans home and abroad

Draws come up in May 30 in FIFA's headquarters, Zurich.
