Indomitable Lion joins UMS on 1-year deal

Former indomitable lion and winner of the Cup of Cameroon trophy with New Stars of Douala, Cédric Djeugoue, has joined league one side UMS.




Cédric Djeugoue is moving from New Stars to the Loum club after penning a 1-year contract. 

In 2015, the 28-year-old left Coton Sport of Garoua for Moroccan side Al Ittihad. Before joining Coton Sport in 2014, the Mankwa native played for Douala Athletic Club 2000.

Cédric Djeugoue who helped New Stars win their first ever silverware last season was part of the 23 players who represented Cameroon during the 2014 world Cup in Brazil.

The defender capped 11 times with the indomitable lions scoring no goal. The multitalented player is expected to feature for UMS when Aigle come vising on Thursday 15 February 2018.
