CAF Comps. 2018: Cameroon's life span hanging

New Stars of Douala have been bundled out of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup following a 2-2 aggregate draw with Deportivo Niefang of Mongomo.

Yesterday, the home side Deportivo narrowly edged the 2017 Cameroon cup winners by a goal to zero, aggregately 2-2 after New Stars’ 2-1 win in Limbe a fortnight ago.

Cameroon’s life span in the current CAF competitions is hanging in the balance as Eding Sport need to overturn a 3-0 deficit today in Yaoundé, against Plateau United in a CAF Champions League return leg tie. 

The MTN Elite 1 champions need to win 4-0 this afternoon at the Ahmadu Ahidjo stadium if they must qualify to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
