U-20 AWCON 2019: Cameroon spared at 1st round qualifiers
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has conducted the draw for the women U-20 AFCON qualifiers.
The female Under 20 AFCON will be played in Niger 2019. According to FECAFOOT, the junior lionesses have been exempted from the first qualifying round.
However, during the second round, Cameroon will face either Uganda or Sudan who will be clashing in the first round.
Second round first leg qualifier ties will take place between the 11th and the 13th of May, 2018, with return leg matches programmed from the 18th to the 20th of May, 2018.
After failing to qualify for the Under 20 World Cup in France later this year, the U-20 lionesses have another chance to rewrite their story.
