Maumu Youth relieve technical director 2 weeks after appointment

The technical director of Maumu Youth FC, Coach Njuku Barnabas, has parted ways with the Maumu side less than three weeks after he was appointed.

Coach Njuku was appointed technical director after helping Maumu Youth reach the canceled mini-inter pool final (of the South West regional championship) with Opopo last year.

According to President Atabe Harrison, Mr Njuku’s contract was terminated on mutual consent, and for personal reasons. Maumu Youth have been training at the Mount Cameroon sports centre in Buea, ahead of the new football season.

Coach James Alang who was back-room staff last season has been made Maumu head coach. Coach Nlend Aime who deputized Njuku last year has joined Limbe City FC.
