Samuel Eto’o donates 10 m FCFA for funeral of late Joseph Siewe
Cameroon web says former indomitable lions’ captain Samuel Eto’o has donated 10 million FCFA for the organization of Coach Joseph Diallo Siewe’s funeral, slated November 30, 2017.
The coach of the under-17 national team passed away on Friday October 13, 2017, at the Lanquintinie Hospital in Douala, following a spell of illness.
Mr Siewe and former President of Tonerre Kalara of Yaoundé, Emile Onambélé Zibi, died in the same week.
The deceased Coach of the U-17 Lions also managed Union Sportif of Douala and Fundersport (Samuel Eto’o’s football academy).
He groomed star players like Nicolas Nkoulou, Stephane Mbia, Fabrice Ondoua, Bassogog and many others who a plying their trade abroad.
Cameroon web adds that the 10 million FCFA envelop was handed to Joseph Siewe’s family in Douala by Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper, Andre Onana, who arrived in the economic capital on Tuesday.
