SW FECAFOOT: Nouck Protus Rubbishes Senator Mbella Moki’s Appointment
The President of Little Foot Football Academy of Mutengene, Nouck Protus, has withdrawn from the Commission in charge of the knockout stage of the South West regional league of football, known as mini inter pool.
While appreciating the initiative to include him in the Committee in a Press Release issued yesterday, Mr Nouck Protus said he was inclined and would not be available.
The reasons for the resignation remain unclear. The 16-man Commission was appointed by the President of the South West Regional league of FECAFOOT, Senator Mbella Moki Charles, to oversee the crucial stage of the current football season.
The communiqué nominating the Little Foot Boss as Adviser was signed on Monday by the former Second National Vice President of the Cameroon Football Federation.
Note that Mr Nouck has always seen things differently as far as football administration is concerned in the SWR. The critic is widely known for a famous statement frequently heard on sports show on CBS Radio Buea. The statement describing the state of football in the region goes thus, "Football in our region is going to the forest, we hope that one day it will come back to the city."
The remaining 15 persons of the Commission are:
President: Senator Mbella Moki Charles
Vice President: Helen Sakwe
SG: Ndumbe Eyoum Sama
Treasurer: Dionny William
Advisers include:
Tataw John Ebot
Moore Joseph
Members:
Barrister Sumelong Henry Awasume
David Mbua Evelle
Dr. Divine Wose
Madam Nkengafe Prudencia
Diffang George
John Mayebi
Sam Nyoki Monono
Embola Charles
Esombi Vefonge Joseph
Mr Nouck Protus however maintained that he is still committed to making football regains its due glory in the SWR.
