FAP end Louves MINPROFF dominance in Cameroon Cup
Nkou Ghislaine and Ngatchou Linda Rostan scored as Amazone FAP beat Louves MINPROFF 2-1 in the female Cameroon Cup final played Wednesday 15th November, 2017, in Yaoundé.
Nkou Ghislaine opened scores at the Military Stadium, before her team mate Ngatchou Linda Rostan made it 2-0 for Coach Moussongo Samuel’s FAP 5 minutes to the break.
Returning from the tunnel, defending champions Louves MINPROFF got a lifeline through Touta Ornela at the 50th minute.
Coach Kpoumie Woudu’s ladies’ push for an equalizer met with stiff resistance from the now new champions of the 2017 Cup of Cameroon, Amazone.
Wednesday’s victory was historic given that Amazone were winning for the first time in three attempts against familiar foes MINPROFF (2015 & 2016).
The deadly derby was watched by two Cameroonian Ministers including Sports and Physical Education Boss Bidoung Mpkatt.
