CHRISTIAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP BUEA EAST ZONE 2015 SPORTS COMPETITION ON COURSE

The CYF Buea East Zone sporting competition for the year 2015 launched in Muea last Saturday in both handball and football continues tomorrow.

In football, CYF Muea defeated CYF Bomaka 2-0 meanwhile Mile 16 section beat Ekona brothers by 2 goals to one. In handball, Mile 16 lost to Ekona 6-9 while the sisters of Muea urged Bomaka 9-2.

Talking to the press, the zonal sports secretary of Buea East Eone, Brother Andong Ignatius, said, "We do this sporting activities as a strategy to excite young christians especially of the CYF, reinforcing our unity as a zone and of course winning unbelievers."

The competition continues tomorrow Saturday with CYF Ekona to host all games. The fixtures are as follows:

Mile 16 will clash with Bomaka in both handball and football. CYF Muea will also compete with Ekona section in both disciplines.

According to the zonal sports secretary, Brother Andong Ignatius, the third day of play will take place in Mile 16, meanwhile, the final will be played in Bomaka.
