Colombe Contract Thierry Metomo to replace Nankam

Thierry Metomo is the new coach of Colombe of the South after signing a 1-year contract with the league one side, Cameroun info.net reports.

According to sources, the Dja and Lobo club tipped the 43-year-old as worthy replacement for Olivier Nankam who has opted to move on after a successful spell last season.

Thierry Metomo is bouncing back after he left Canon 6 years ago. He has also managed Tonerre Kalara of Yaoundé.

Other clubs he has managed include: CPS of Bertoua, SOSUCAM of Mbandjock, AS Fortuna and Renaissance of Ngoumou.

In 2003, he was part of the technical bench that led TKC at CAF Cup.

He now has the task to improve Colombe who finished on the 11th spot in just ended season.
