University Games Ends in Cameroon’s Capital: Yaoundé 1 Leads Medal Table
The 2015 all university
games have come to a close in Cameroon’s political city, Yaoundé. The 18th
edition was hosted by the University of Yaoundé 1, who championed it with a total of 45
medals, 17 in gold.
The bonanza started on
May 24 and ended on May 31.

A total of 19 higher
institutions took part involving 4500 athletes. UB made an improvement given that they finished last year's games on 9th position.
The following institutions came
out empty-handed: Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB), ENSPT, SIANTOU, National
Polytechnique Bambui, and St. Jerome institute.
The 2016 edition will be
hosted by the University of Yaoundé Two (Soa).
